Dedication of St Peter and St Paul Basilicas
St Peter & St Paul 18-11-2009. Today the Church of commemorates the dedication of St. Peter and St. Paul's Basilicas. This feast has been celebrated since at least the 12th century and was enventually introduced in the Roman rite. Our Basilica of St Peter and St Paul is spiritually affiliated to these basilicas of highest importance. Whoever visits our Basilica on this day would be able to acquire the Plenary Indulgence under the usual conditions.
 
St. Coronato 2009
St Coronato02-11-2009. This week our parish is celebrating the feast of St Coronato, a Roman martyr from the first centuries and co-patron of the Nadur Parish along with St Peter and St Paul. The Tridum starts on Wednesday 4 November at 6.00p.m. and continues on Thursday and Friday. On Saturday, the parish celebrates the vigil of the solemnity and Sunday would be the feast day. It is recommended that we celebrate the feast properly with Confessions and the Sacrament of Communion. click for programme
 
All Saints Day
Nadur Cemetry remembering our beloved1-11-2009. Today starts the month of November in which we Christians remember with greater intensity the souls who passed away, as well as meditate our path towards heaven too. The cemetry opens everyday and a mass is held everyday at 6.30a.m. Tomorrow 2nd November a the annual pilgrimage is held from the Basilica towards the Cemetry at 3.00p.m. where a concelebration would be held.
May all the souls rest in peace.
 
Our Lady of Sorrows Procession 2009
Duluri 20921-09-2009. Yesterday, 20 September 2009 the parish organized the annual procession of Our Lady of Sorrows to which many devotees attended. The procession started following the 5.00p.m. mass in our Basilica, led by Mgr Can. Saviour Pace which included an homily about the occasion. (Photos by Mireille Tabone in the Gallery section).
 
Priestly Year

Cure of ArsOn the occasion of the 150th annoversary of St John Maria Vianney's death, H.H. Benedict XVI dedicated this year to the Priesthood. It is the initiative of the Parish of Nadur to bring a spiritual reflection, of the Cure of Ars himself each week throughout this Priestly Year on its website.

The first reflection would be issued on the Parish website next weekend.
